I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled
28
An Ordinance to amend the Malicious Damage Ordinance, 1865
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to
the Governor's Instructions
f
Part I provides penalties for malicious damage done to Railway and
Tramways" and is a re-enactment of Part I of Ordinance No. 28 or 1909.
Part II re-enacts Part II of Ordinance No. 28 of 1909 with amend-
-ments by which the Governor-in-Council is substituted for the
'Gövernor' in section 5 and the holding of a judicial enquiry in the
village concerned is made a condition precedent to the imposition of
añy fiñe and Ordinat ceTM No. 28 of 1909 is repealed.
