My Lord,

With reference to Your Lordship's
telegram of the 30th. of last April, informing me that Mr.
W. H. Williams had resigned his appointment, I have the
honour to state that the number of Masters at Queen's
College has been maintained by not transferring a junior
Assistant from that College to Saiyingpun School as had
been intended, but by appointing a new junior Assistant,
Mr.A. W. Henzell, to that school. The result so far as
Queen's College is concerned is that there is one senior
Assistant too few, and one more junior Assistant than the
approved proposals contemplate. I therefore recommend that
Mr. G. P. de Martin, who has six years' service and has
done good work, should be promoted to be a senior Assistant
Master at Queen's College with a salary of £360 rising to
RIGHT HONOURABLE
£480
THE EARL OF CREWE,
