We have this morning received from Miss C.
E. McLeish an extraordinary communication dated from Ceylon, and
of which I enclose a copy, as I think that you may like to take
some steps in the matter.
We are also forwarding the information as to
Miss McLeish's whereabouts to the Colonial Office.
I am placing the letter before the Committee
at their next Meeting, but I need hardly say that, in the cir-
-cumstances, they will certainly not recommend her for any
further employment.
