I have the hapur to inform you that I am
sending by the P.
& 0. Co.'s S.S. "Manila", to London, a Swede

of the name K. A. Nylander, at the request of the Government of
this Cology.
This man
who is of weak intellect, has been
for some years in the Colony, and his Consul declines to take charge of him, on the ground that he has no papers to prove his nationality and was not discharged as a seaman before a Sweidish Consul. He is not fit for any form of employment, and has con-
sequently become a charge upon the Colony.
Under the circumstances, the Colonial
Goverment is paying his passage, at B. of I.rates, to London,
and thence to Stockholm.
I an crediting the B. of T. with the expen- -ses incurred and to be incurred on his behalf as far as London,
and have to request that the expenses for his further transport
and maintenance be debited to my account.
