I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled
An Ordinace to amend the Official Signatures Fees
Ordinance, 1888
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to
the Governor's Instructions

This Ordina ce authorizes a fee to be charged for the signatures of the Colonial Treasurer and Captain Superintendent of
Police.
Certain licenses which were formerly issued by the Colo- nial Secretary are now issued by the Colonial Treasurer or by the
Captain Superintendent of Police.
It was the practice for the Colonial Secretary in the case of a transfer of a license to another person to charge a fee of
