Where the parent died a Widower, and left pensionable children, a schedule should be furnished in the form

given for a Widow,- inserting the same details but substituting the children for the widow. (The ages inserted will enable me to ascertain the number of payments of pension payable from the 31/12/08) (The observations placed after the Widows' Schedule apply).
There is the case of a wife becoming a Widow since the 31/12/1900 and dying prior to the 31/12/08, leav- ing pensionable children. The form for the Widow should be completed, and a final statement should be made of the date of her death, and the number, sex and nearer ages at the date of her death of the pensionable children whom she left to receive the pension.
25. All the entries upon cards and schedules
should be independently checked.

26. There may be, on the 31/12/08, some arrears of pension due, owing, for example, to the benefic- iaries not being then tracech le. If so, they should either be deducted from the fund, or, if not, a
statement should be furnished to me of their total amount. Similarly, for refunds of part of contribu-
tions not paid by the 31/12/08.
