Instructions for the completion of the Cards and
1.
Schedules.
A: the Cards
I enclose a specimen which shows its size and form. Kindly note that the top right hand corner should be cut
off If you consider the eize likely to be too small
for the clear presentation of the required facts, especi-
ally in the "Remarks" space, you can adopt a somewhat
larger form. But the more compact the size, the more
suitable for use in my valuation. The exact spacing
for answers is left to your notion of what is sufficient.
The intervals for the "month", for example, (see section
6 of these instructions) might be shorter. And you will require to make the card a little longer than the specimen
in order that (underneath the column of the actual total
revised (Prospective) pension") you may insert, in brackets
in red ink, the recomputed ProspectivePansion men-
tioned in section 20 of the Instructions. The "Remarks"
space will probably be large enough, for, if necessary you can carry over to theback (placing "over" at the
required foot of the card) any additional particulars, with a
reference to the questions on the front appertaining to
them.
The card should be made of stout cardboard, and the
questions should be printed.
The carda should be numbered consecutively from No.
1, and you shouldbe good enough to advise, in a letter
the total number sent (and also the number and nature
of the schedules forwarded and any other statements
despatched
