to amend the law with regard to the regulation of the Importation, Sale and use of Deleterious Drugs" printed in the Straits Settlements Government Gazette of the 19th July 1907, p. 1435.

By the terms of this ordinance cocaine and its salts and solutions thereof are regarded as deleterious drugs, and trade in them is restricted to persons licensed by the Principal Civil Medical Officer or in his absence by a duly authorised Governcent Medical Officer. Licenses to deal in deleterious drugs may be issued to medical men or chemists and druggists.
