Canton-Hankow railway loan.
My telegram No 52 of XXXX to-day's date.
The delegates of the three groups met again this afternoon.
The Germans again declined to withdraw their offer & the meet-
ing was adjourned at their request till 11 a.n. to-morrow. This
will enable them to receive a reply from Peking to a further
attempt which they have made by telegram to obtain a modifica-
tion of the terms offered.
