The instructions in regard to the Hankow Canton
Railway suggested in your telegram No. 248 of yester-
day's date will be telegraphed to the French Ambassador
at Berlin by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, French
Minister at Peking will also be informed by telegraph
of action taken.
