With reference to my telegram of the 11th instant,
I have the honour to inform Your Excellency that I re-
ceived in due course from the Treasury here the sum
of Roubles 4,710.00. for the families of the victims
of the "China" and have forwarded the equivalent in
sterling by cheque in favour of the Colonial Secre-
tary, Hongkong.
