The Director of Military Operations presents
his compliments to the Under Secretary of State for the
Colonies and begs to request that he will be so good as
to arrange for the withdrawal from the Governor of Hong
Kong of the copy of the "Military Report on the Province
of Fukien, Chapter IV Defences, 1905", issued by the
Intelligence Branch, Simia. This publication has been
superseded by a new edition issued last year by the
General Staff, and of which copies have been supplied to
the General Officer Commanding, South China.
