The great majority of the points to which I calle attention in my Minube of 10th June 1908 have beon given effect to in the amended Ordinance; and there are only two points to which I should like to direct abbon- bion on such amended Ordinance.
(1) Second Schedule If the item "Oleims announced but not admitted" is to be added as proposed it would seem to follow that the items already included in the Schedule, vizt "Claims in process of adjustment or ad- justed and not due" and "Claims &c. noted by the Comptry which would necessarily be included in the proposed new item of "Claims announced but not admitted"should either be deleted or should be set out as sub-headings to the ibam of "Claims announced but not admitted!
The same remarks apply to the proposed addition to the Fourth Schedule.

Sixth Schedule Heading No. 3. It seems desirable that an addition should be made here consequential on the words added under heading No. 285o the following effact ;-
"A separate statement is to be given of premiums payable for a limited number of years classified accord- ing to the number of years' payments remaining to be made" These words which seem to be needed to complete the Returns are baken from the corrasponding clause
