With reference to your letter of the 14th ultimo (No. 28832/1909) transmitting a copy of the Hong Kong Ordinance further to amend the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1899, I am directed by the Board of Trade
to state for the information of the Earl of Crewe, that they concur in the view expressed in your communication.
The Board, however, desire me to call attention
to two further misprints which appear in the amending Ordinance, viz., in section 13 *(15)" in the first line should read "(14)" and "eleventh" in the fourth
line should read "tenth".
