Sir,

I have the honour to acknowled the receipt of

your Circular of the 11th instant having reference to

the local use of International Code flagg.

In Amoy the following are used:

F.G.H.J.K.L.M.N.P.QR.U.V.".Y. indicate various

moorings and berthings in the inner harbour.

O is the call for the doctor

D is the call for a signalman

P is the call for a pilot

T is hoisted on Wodnesdays and Saturdays at

half mast at 11.46 am and at the must head at 11.56 am

and is hauled down at noon simultaneously with gam

fire.

Vessels bolonging to all lines trading regularly

with Amoy make their numbers (local not official) in

the karryat Code.
