Assistant Land Surveyor, 23 to 28 years of age, & unmarried. He must have a thorough knowledge of surveying with Theodolite & Level, be a neat draughtsman, & quick at figures; be capable of carrying out extensive surveys over rough hilly country, & intricate surveys of City lots co- vering large areas of steep hillside land; & be proficient in checking & closing traverses by co-ordinates, preparing plans & sections, & computing areas.
