I may add that Mr. Logan is by

nature somewhat hot-tempered and has little control over

his temper. He has recently quarrelled with the District

Officers, the Medical Officers and the Audit Officers at

Taipo, and therefore, although I appreciate the work he

has done for the Railway I am unwilling to retain him in

his present post of District Engineer longer than necessary.
