In continuation of ry Despatch
No. 204 of the 16th. of last July, I have the honour to
forward copy of a further letter from the Hongkong General
Chamber of Commerce on the subject of the proposed arend-
-ment of the Code of Civil Procedure to secure the
privilege to an action being heard by a Jury, and replying
to a letter from the Chief Justice dated the 19th, ultimo
of which I also enclose a copy.
