(3). A furnished house of sufficient size to accommodate himself, wife and two children, to be provided free of cost or a commensurate allowance in lieu.
(4). Travelling expenses to cover actual outlay.
(5). Free passage, first class, Calcutta to Hongkong and back for Mr. Lillie, wife and two children.
(6). In addition to these payments the Hongkong Government to pay annually to the Government of India a sum of approximately £146 rising to £166 as contribution towards Mr. Lillie's pension during the period of his loan. Mr. Lillie's service in Hongkong would count for pension, but not for leave, under Indian rules, and if the Hongkong Government should decide to give him any leave during the period of his loan, his allowances would be paid by that Government at such rates as they might determine.
7.
The conditions of Mr. Lillie's engagement are that he is to undertake for your Government any kind of railway work, administrative and executive, and to carry out on your behalf any negotiations which you may request him to undertake.
