I have the honour to acknowledge your despatch No. 223 of the 5th August, recommending the grant to the Chenèse Public Health Department (the Tung Wah Hospital) of a piece of land for the erection of a Plague Hospital at Wanchai.
2. I approve of the grant, subject to the usual condition that the Secretary of State may resume possession of the land should it cease to be used for the purpose for which it is granted.
