I have the honour to transmit for
Your Lordship's favourable consideration the enclosed copy
of a letter from the Registrar-General, dated the 27th. of
last lay together with a report by the Principal Land
Surveyor, dated the 2nd. of last July, ard to recommend
that the area of 4,080 Square Feet coloured red on the
attached plan should be granted to the residents of Hunghom
for the purpose of building a Chinese Dispensary.
2.
If this proposal is approved the
Hunghom Dispensary under Dr. Lin Yin-sze, a physician
trained in Western Medical Science, will move from its
present quarters into the new buildings, upon which the
residents of Hunghom propose to expend a sum of about
$2,000. The Principal Civil Medical Officer considers the
scheme a very good one and reports that the site, which is
valued
