The notice appears to be pretty chemists; but there are one or two points to which attention might be drawn. (1) § 14 (3). I don't understand why compensation for a land taken should not be given some consideration, e.g., to plant trees near the line in order to fetch them but down the granted compensation.
I think 'Atkinson underrates the ingenuity of the Chinese; it is quite easy.
