Hongkong Electric Company.
The Generating Station is situated at Wanchai, where high-speed forced lubrication compound engines developing 1,200 horse power have been installed.
Two new 300 horse power Diesel Oil Engines have also been laid down. The Company now supplies current for about 90 arc lamps and some 50,000 smaller lamps, besides supplying current for numerous lifts.
China Light and Power Company.
This Company has a generating station in Kowloon and supplies current to a large portion of the Peninsula, and its annual output at present about 300,000 units will soon be considerably augmented.
