Government House Hongkong, 23rd June, 1909.

In confirmation of my telegram of the 22nd instant, I regret to have to report that Police Constable 43 Paul Conlan died at the Government Civil Hospital on the night of the 21st instant.

2. His mother's address is Mrs. Mary Arless, Carlow, Queen's County, Ireland.

3. The cause of his death was heat stroke.
