With reference to my Confidential Despatch of the 3rd of last March, I have the honour to report that the Managing Directors of the Land Investment Company and the Land Reclamation Company have accepted the offers made to them for Kowloon Inland Lots 443, 1140 and 1141, viz.:- in each case $2.75 per square foot. The areas of these lots are 28,960 square feet, 78,055 square feet, and 52,512 square feet respectively, making a total of 159,527 square feet and the price paid for their acquisition was accordingly $438,699.25.

It remains to acquire Kowloon Inland Lot 442 (area 58,826 square feet) and Kowloon Inland Lot 616 (area 46,036 square feet), and negotiations for their resumption are now in progress.
