I have the honour to request Your Excellency to be good enough to inform me whether the Government of Hongkong consent, in accordance with the provisions of Article 56 (1) of the Siam Order in Council, 1906, to receive one, Tong Suk (Cheong Suk) a British subject in order that the sentence of seven years imprisonment passed upon him by His Majesty's Court for Siam at Bangkok for committing rape may be carried out at Hongkong.

Cheong Suk was registered, in this Consulate-General on December 2nd., 1895, on a passport from Hongkong issued in October, 1895.

On receiving Your Excellency's consent, I will arrange for the prisoner to be sent to Hongkong under police escort.
