We have examined Mr. G. A. Woodcock with reference to his deafness, which he states troubles him at long distances. His hearing for ordinary distances is normal.
He is suffering from slight thickening of the drums of both ears which may possibly diminish, in a slight degree, the acuity of hearing at distances.
We are however of opinion that his condition does not at present render him unfit for scholastic work.
