With reference to Your Lordship's Despatch No. 38 of 16th February, I have the honour to state that I have granted to Dr. G. H. Bateson Wright a pension at the rate of $2,700 at 3 shillings and 8 pence equals £495 per annum to date from 8th instant and that I have instructed the Crown Agents as regards payment.
