Lease; and is at liberty to re-impose on any purchaser for

War Department the Crown Rent and taxes which were remitted

only for so long as the leased land remained the property of

that Department.

12. The lease of "Spring Gardens" is by virtue

of Section 3 of Ordinance 2 of 1860 vested in the Principal

Secretary of State for War who, therefore, may sell the property

for the residue of the term of the original Crown Lease subject

to the rent reserved and the Covenants contained in that

lease paying the proceeds into the Imperial Treasury.
