I see nothing to object to in that, except that M. Melbourne drew the equivalent of the half pay of Deputy Registrar for a period when it was not available. But when a cadet is acting for another officer, he can only receive what is available.
Police Magistrate KIRA's salary of the 2nd was not apparently available, I think I'll take up the point.

Here again, I do not see any objection to the salary arrangements that Mr. Hutchison had alluded to above.
That Mr. Wolfe's exception to any right to the grant during full pay absence. Under the Col. Reglas, an officer on full pay leave has to provide for his duties without cost to the public. On this assumption, I doubt whether it is worth while to worry about the points mentioned.
