The Colonial Secretary then sends all papers on the matter to the Attorney General who, after hearing the parties or not (in his discretion), reports his opinion to the Colonial Secretary. The Attorney General's report is then submitted to the Governor whose decision on the point is final.
6. Applications for the cancellation of a trade mark registered in the Colony must be considered and decided by the Executive Council, no special form of procedure being prescribed.
17. After every period of 14 years each mark has to be re-registered.
