M Stuble

I think a messenger had better call at 19 Doddington Grove, Kennington, to see whether anything is known of Cullen of Hongkong.

Mrs W.F. Cullen.

You at once 11/6.

Officer Keeper.

Will you please have this done?

C.A is shipping agents have enquired of likely shipping companies without success.

The NGL "Bulow" left Southampton on Oct 27, the most probable steamer. They have accordingly written to Southampton to make sure that he did not get on at the last moment, but find that he did not.

The CA's salary receipts have been sent out to Colony.

Telegram October.

Address late M-Stubbs.

Enquiry has been made. The landlady states that Mr Cullen left 19 Doddington Grove early in October for Manchester with the idea of coming back to sail for Hongkong about the 5th of October.

She has not received a postcard with no address relating his arrival at Manchester and has heard nothing from him.

I have asked C.A. to try to ascertain from the Steamer Companies the date he left.

Gourmor Hongkong.

Sent 5:35 With ref to your telegram of 5 Jan saying 1/log granted reporting Cullen.

To be annexed to your telegram.

No further cave.

Quod 2208.
