An Assistant Auditor and a Clerk have been stationed at Kowloon since 1st November, 1907, for the examination of the accounts in the New Territory, as well as those of the Canton-Kowloon Railway.

6. The Audit of the Revenue and certain other accounts was conducted under my directions by the Officers of my Department stationed in the Colony, with generally satisfactory results.

7. The outstanding question referred to in my Report on the Account for 1905 has been satisfactorily settled.

There are a few outstanding questions of minor importance on the Account for 1906 awaiting settlement.
