In reply to Mr. Antrobus's letter of the 9th October, No.35666/1908, I am directed to furnish copies of Notifications issued by the Government of India containing rules that have been formulated for the identification of sugar imported into India.

Modifications dated 15th August 1904 and 21st February 1906.

I am to add that a copy of your letter will be forwarded to the Government of India, who will doubtless inform the Governor of Hong Kong direct if any recent modification has been made in these rules.
