"the 11th July 1900. The Plaintiff also claims interest
at eight per cent per annum on the said sum of $7000.15
from the date hereof until payment or judgment".
and you are required within 15 days after the receipt of
this notice inclusive of the day of such receipt to defend
the said action by an appearance to be entered for you
in the said Court in the said action and in default of
your so doing the said Said Ahamed Marican may proceed
therein and judgment may be given in your absence.
You may appear to the said Writ of Summons by entering
an appearance personally or by your Solicitor at the
Supreme Court of Hongkong.
