officially certified to the said Supreme Court or declared
upon oath or otherwise in such manner as is consistent
with the usage of practice of His Britannic Majesty's
Consular Court at Canton, China, in proving service of
legal process.
The Chief Justice begs further to request that in the
event of efforts to effect personal service of the said
notice of Writ of Summons proving ineffectual the Court
be requested to certify the same to the said Supreme Court.
