I understand from the Masters of the Coolie immigration ships, that all the Chinese bring an individual health certificate, issued by the examining Doctor in Hongkong, which also gives age, sex, nationality, &c. and also bears a photograph. This is taken up by the Health Doctor here when he examines the immigrants, and only returned to them when they are landed and have put in their time in the detention Camp.
