Extract from 'Taun Wan Yat Po' of the 27th March,
1908.
Warning against Rashness.
With regard to the boycott of Japanese goods by
the Chinese of Hongkong, particulars of which have
appeared in one of our previous issues, we have
nothing further to report except the following:-
A Chinese Official has come to Hongkong from
Canton and advised the Chinese not to take any rash
measures to bring about this boycott, which might
cause trouble and bring about the interference of the
Hongkong Police.
