Question asked in the House of Commons, March 12, 1908.

Mr. Nuttall,-To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether His Majesty's Government will endeavour to make the same arrangement with China as that made by France and Germany, by which sealed mails are sent, viâ Siberia, from Peking and other parts of China to London and from London to China.

My right honourable friend has asked me to reply to the honourable Member's question. The matter is engaging my attention, but I am not at present in a position to make any statement on the subject.
