Barry should inspect the Railway on our behalf, as he will at any rate be in China about the end of the year. Perhaps His Excellency might think it desirable to postpone the matter of the Bridges until the question of the inspection is settled, and, if it is decided that Mr, A. J. Barry shall inspect the line, until his arrival in
the Colony.
