2. We have carefully considered the despatch
Executive and the report and design of Mr J.F.Bolton, Engineer in the Public Works Department dated 28th of September 1907 which was forwarded therewith and al- though we are of opinion that the boat shelter proposed to be provided at Mongkoktsui is much required, there are nevertheless certain details of an engineering character, in connection with the construction of the sheltering arm, and also with respect to the entrances as laid down on the plan, which in our judgment are sufficiently important to justify a consultation here with the author of the design, Mr Bolton as soon as
