Our reasons for telegraphing to ask if the Bill
vas in order were that we had received no advice either by
telegraph or by letter of the Pill having boon drawn. The
Pill, which was apparently drawn on a form supplied by the Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank, had also only one signature upon
it instead of the two signatures which are usual when Bills
are drawn upon us by Colonial Governments.
