The humble Petition of the above named Ng Hin Ts2
Respectfully Sheweth:-

That Your Petitioner is a native of China resident in the
Colony of Hongkong and is 28 years of age.

That Your Petitioner came to this Colony about 5 years ago
as teacher of Chinese to the Yue family and resided with
the said Yue family in Queen's Road East Victoria aforesaid.
That Your Petitioner acted as such teacher as aforesaid for
the period of two years after which time he was employed b
the proprietors of the Sheung Po, a Chinese newspaper prin-
ted and published in Hongkong, to ediľthe said newspaper,
and that your petitioner has since his said employment con-
tinuously edited the said newspaper.

Petitioner has at all times respected and obeyed
the laws of this Colony and has always endeavoured to live
as a peaceful citizen thereof.

That on the 25th. of November, 1908 Your Petitioner was
informed by Chief Detective Inspector Hanson of the Hong-
kong Police that an Order had been issued by Your Excellen-
cy for the banishment of Your Petitioner, and that Your
Petitioner was required to leave this Colony on or before
the evening of Sunday the 29th. day of November, 1908.
That no reasons have been assigned to Your Petitioner for
such Order of banishment as aforesaid.
