assuming that the responsibility of the Consulting Engin-

eers for the conception and execution of the design of the

Railway involved any financial liability in circumstances

such as those disclosed.

I await Mr. A. J. Barry's ar-

rival who will prepare an independent report upon the

bridges in question.

I trust his arrival may not be long

delayed.
