and to run concurrently with it.

Premium 30 cents per square foot, to be paid into the Treasury within 3 days of notification by the Director of Public Works that the area is at the disposal of the Company.
3. Crown Rent $500 per acre, to commence from date of
notification specified in (2).
4. Permission to be granted to the Company to obtain earth from Crown Land at points approved by the Director of Public Works. Any stone met with to be removed by the Company and the ground and slopes to be trimmed off to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works. Mount Cochrane being leased as a quarry, permission cannot be granted to obtain any materials from it, but the Company are at liberty to make arrangements
with the lessee.
5. The actual area of the lot to be ascertained upon completion of the reclamation and the premium and Crown Rent to be then adjusted in proportion to the areas and amounts stated
hereafter.

The Company to protect the area, including a width of 50 feet beyond the northern boundary and a width of 100 feet beyond the southern boundary (which are to be handed over to Government on completion for the formation of roads), with good and sufficient walls or slopes to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works and to fill in the whole of these areas
to a level of 12 feet above Ordnance Datum.

The Company to extend the present drains and sewers to the face of the new sea-wall and construct an outfall chamber
in the north end of the sea-wall to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works for the purpose of receiving an in- -tercepting drain to be afterwards constructed by the Public
Works Department.

The Company to pay into the Treasury, within 3 days of the service of a notice, the sum of $4,000 in aid of the
cost
