I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled
An Ordinance for regulating Theatres and other places
of public resort
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to
the Governor's Instructions
It is deemed necessary for the public safety that some
provision should be made for the regulatin of Theatres and other
places of public re sort.
The Ordinance requires that such places shall be licensed
and authorises the Governor-in-Council from time to time to make
