I have the honour to report that
I have granted, with the approval of the Executive Council
under Section 13 of the Police Pension Regulations of the
23rd. July, 1896, a special pension to Police Constable 34,
Joseph Lenaghan, of the Hongkong Police Force, at the rate
of £40 6

8 per annum, as his capacity to contribute to
his own support is, in the opinion of the Medical Advisers
of this Government, considered materially impaired in
consequence of injuries received while in the execution of
his duty.
2.
The Crown Agents for the Colonies
have been instructed to issue pension to him as it becomes
due.
