successfully accomplished in the Colony. The question
which I submit is one which will in all probability be
pressed by the Legislative Council in view of the financial
stringency, and in view of the existing situation in regard
to the condemned bridges on the Canton-Kowloon Railway. I
shall therefore be glad to have clear information on the
point.
