In continuation of my Confidential
Despatch of the 28th. ultimo, I regret to report that the
records of Confidential and Secret Despatches and Telegrams
from Governors and Administrators of this Colony to the
Secretary of State from the 21st. July, 1900, to the end of
the year 1903 have also been eaten by white ants and are
illegible.

The record of Confidential and
Secret Despatches and Telegrams from the Secretary of
State for the Colonies to Governor of this Colony for the
years 1902, 1903 and January to June, 1904 is entirely
missing.
3.
I shall be much obliged if
duplicates of these documents can be supplied to me.
4.
Owing to the fact that my
predecessor Sir M. Nathan had left the Colony before my
