of Robinson Road, will be included in the Station Site
reducing the road to a breadth of 35 feet as frontage to
Lots 75 and 88. It is anticipated that the consent of the
owners of the Lots can be obtained without expense to
Government.
Des Voeux Road will sweep round into Middle
Road and its present extension South of that curve will be
thrown into the Railway land. Legislation will be required
for this but no difficulty would arise. (It may be noted
in this connection that the area thrown into Blackhead's
by the closing of the South end of Des Voeux Road and the
Eastern reduction of Salisbury Road is greater than the
corner of Blackhead's monopolised by the curve of the
Railway.)
The Station Building will have a frontage
of 200 feet on Robinson Road with access also from Middle
Road and Salisbury Road.

Sir Matthew Nathan's original
proposal included the purchase of a strip of private
property along the North side of Salisbury Road in order
to make room for private sidings to the Kowloon Wharf and
Godown Company premises at a cost of $30,000. The length
required will now be reduced by about half at a saving of
$15,000
